“When I gaze upon the crumbling shrine and look up to see the twisting, towering majesty of the ancient wightwood, I think of king Hallanth’s brother and first abbot of the monastery, Vallis Havnor, and how he received his famous visions under the branches of this very tree those long centuries ago, and I wonder at the power of the place…” -Brother Sowards
The Ancient Shrine Tree is the perfect terrain piece for fantasy tabletop roleplaying and wargaming. It is an intricate and highly imposing model. The roots of the massive wightwood tree twist and curl around a crumbling shrine to an unknown god, and the branches of this colossal tree rise up to tower 18″ over your gaming table! There are numerous small details which really bring this piece to life, including a nearly hidden entrance to an underground cave beneath the tree (totally accessible for play by lifting the shrine away from the base). There are many locations designed for a miniature to stand on, and encounters can range all over this striking tabletop landmark. It measures approximately 7.5"x7.5"x18" in the 28mm scale.
The item comes in 5 pieces and is unpainted. As with all 3D prints, some finishing may be required.
